4. Orders & Contract of Sale

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. A binding contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including where:

A product is out of stock or discontinued
There is a pricing or product description error
We suspect fraudulent activity
We are unable to verify payment

If your order is cancelled, you will receive a full refund to your original payment method within 5 business days.

We accept payment via Shopify Payments (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, and Shop Pay. All transactions are processed securely through Shopify's encrypted payment gateway. Maison Dorée does not store your full card details.

By providing payment details, you confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided.

6. Shipping & Delivery

Shipping timeframes and costs are displayed at checkout. While we aim to meet all estimated delivery times, these are estimates only and not guaranteed. Maison Dorée is not liable for delays caused by third-party carriers, customs, or events outside our control.

Risk of loss passes to you upon handover to the carrier
It is your responsibility to provide a correct and complete delivery address
We are not responsible for lost parcels due to incorrect address details provided by the customer

7. Australian Consumer Law Guarantees

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Nothing in these terms excludes your ACL rightsThese Terms of Service operate alongside and do not limit your statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Any clause that would otherwise limit those rights is void to the extent of that limitation.
